One of the staples of the European music festival scene, this year’s Festival d’Ambronay runs from 13 September to 6 October. The focus is on the human voice and programmes (which include several from eeemerging scheme that provides opportunities for new performers) range from madrigals to operas, and from solo recitals to full-scale choral works.
